PRE-ELEC
® electrically conductive plastics cover a wide basic polymer range, from commodity to engineering polymers.
Carbon black
Electrically conductive carbon-black-based PRE-ELEC
® grades obtain excellent price-performance ratio and are primarily used in ATEX, ESD and metal replacement applications in automotive, chemical, electronic, and mining industry. These grades find uses also in medical applications, hazardous goods handling, special cables, and heating elements.
Carbon and stainless steel fiber
Carbon- and steel-fiber-based PRE-ELEC
® grades are used in applications where sloughing is not allowed and high stiffness and strength are required. Stainless steel-fiber plastics are also used in EMI-shielding applications. In addition these plastics can be colored.
